In my opinion, there are two types of customers. First is the smart customers, which seek only the benefit and the good features offered by a company or products and the are also some people that are called as stupid or dumb customers. They are very brand minded, and they even buy things without thinking about the benefits or the loss in purchasing that thing.

Those two types of customer can also be used to describe the car owner. It is now a common thing for the car owners to customize and do a little modification their cars. And in general, there are two main groups of car owners. One is the smart car owner group and the last is the dumb car owner. The dumb ones, only custom the car just to fulfill their needs of good and sometimes extreme car appearance without really thinking about the function and the comfortableness of the car when they ride it, while on the other hand, the smart car owner customize or modify their car not only to fulfill the aesthetics but also functional.

There are a lot of examples describing this smart movement. One of them is to customize the exhaust system to both make the car looks better and also to increase the car performance. Just as simple as adding custom mufflers, you will have both appearance and performance upgrade.
